If you are considering becoming a candidate for a seat on the NAHC Board of Directors, download and complete the Board Candidacy Packet below and submit it to the NAHC registration desk no later than Thursday, October 17 at 5:00 pm at the Annual Conference. Positions up for election will be voted in October during the Annual Meeting of Members on Saturday. The NAHC Board positions are naturally expiring three-year terms. Elections will take place immediately prior to the NAHC Annual Meeting of Members at the Annual Conference on Saturday morning.

In accordance with NAHC’s Bylaws, the Credentials Committee has certified the current active Membership List as the voting strength at the Annual Meeting of Members. The final certified list will be posted online after September 30, 2019.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON VOTING

Regional Association Member and Direct Member Association Caucuses

Regional Association Member and Direct Member Caucuses will meet on Friday, October 18, from 5:45 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. to learn more about the candidates that are running for the board. Remember that if you pay your membership dues through a Regional Association Member, CAHC, CHANE, CSI, CNYC, MAHC, PAHC, NJFHC, or FNYHC, you do not have a separate vote from your Regional Association.

Only a Direct Member and one representative member from a Regional Association will pick up a ballot to vote on Saturday morning.


NEW IN 2019

For the first time this year, NAHC will offer an opportunity for Direct Members to choose to caucus. Direct Members may use this forum to discuss among themselves who they will vote for and also network, engage, share best practices or bring other association related business up for discussion.
