Hardship Grant – Deadline Extended

The Membership Committee received approval from the Board of Directors to offer one hardship grant to an NAHC member who is part of a cooperative experiencing financial hardship.

This grant will fund the recipient member’s registration fee, hotel and travel expenses (airfare and travel to and from the airport), and a per diem for food and beverage.

We are anticipating that the member will travel to Las Vegas on Tuesday, October 25 to be available for registration on Wednesday morning, and depart on Saturday, October 29 . Therefore, we have budgeted the per diem cost and the hotel cost for five days and four nights, which will provide the additional money for the travel days.

The grant will cover up to $2500 of expenses to attend the Annual Conference. Costs are detailed below (airfare and travel to and from the airport will be determined once the recipient is selected):

  1. Registration – $725
  2. Hotel Cost – ($159 X 4) which is $636, plus taxes for a total of approximately $750
  3. Per Diem Cost $61.00 per day for five days for a total of $305

Total                $1,780
